The Colorado Public Utility Commission’s Clean Heat Plan proceeding is an important opportunity to make a just transition away from using polluting fossil methane gas to heat our homes by making electric heat pumps affordable for thousands more Coloradans.

Unfortunately, Xcel's plan falls far short of Colorado's Clean Heat standard AND raises customer rates to pay for costly experimental energy concepts like “hydrogen blending”,"recovered natural gas" and "certified natural gas" that could keep us dependent on polluting fossil fuels for decades to come.

We also need people to testify (remotely) on January 8, from 4-6pm at the PUC Clean Heat Public Hearing. This is your chance to send an even stronger message that you want Xcel's Clean Heat plan to meet state standards and help customers access heat pumps and transition away from polluting gas furnaces.

SIGN UP HERE TO TESTIFY FOR CLEAN HEAT CLIMATE SOLUTIONS  ON JANUARY 8, 4-6PM

To learn more about the Xcel Clean Heat Plan, please watch and share our webinar, co-hosted with the Colorado Renewable Energy Society here.

The PUC’s decision will affect millions of Coloradan’s lives for many years to come.

Thank you!
